Presenters
Malaika Oringo is a survivor, consultant and speaker against human trafficking. She stands up for victims' rights and strengthens survivors' engagement. She is the founder of Footprint to Freedom, a survivor-led organization. As a speaker and campaigner, Oringo has highlighted gaps in TIP European legislation, and during the UN General Assembly 2021, and she is a serving member ISTAC / OSCE/ODIHR and works with The Salvation Army as The International Survivor and Engagement Specialist.
Itohan Okundaye is From Nigeria, a survivor leader of human trafficking of sexual exploitation, and a human rights activist living in Finland. A consultant, she advocates human trafficking prevention and has worked and volunteered in several anti-trafficking organizations.
Ronny Marty is a Certified Public Accountant, hospitality manager, independent anti-human trafficking consultant, and anti-trafficking advocate. In December 2020 Mr. Marty was appointed by ODIHR/OSCE as member of ISTAC International Survivor of Trafficking Advisory Council. Mr. Marty has consulted with government agencies, including the U.S. Department of Justice Office for Victims of Crime, to strengthen their anti-trafficking efforts. He has also consulted with other like OVC, Humanity United, SOAR, ACT. Has provided training for ACT and OVC on human trafficking.
Mr. Marty has leveraged over 26 years’ experience working with diverse ethnic groups and cultures to advance in the hospitality industry. His work in the anti-trafficking movement is more specific on labor trafficking and force labor. He is currently Owner and CEO of Marty Professional Cleaning Services.
