We would like to congratulate UNODC for the launch of the Global Report 2022 on human trafficking. I believe the Global Report is a crucial tool to identify the new global and regional trends of this crime and challenges to adapt our national responses to prosecute criminals better.

Trends show that organized crime: 
- Exploit more victims 
- More violently 
- For more extended periods.
